Researcher Data Access Instructions

Researcher Data Access Requests under DSA Article 40(4)

If you are a researcher with non-commercial purposes and wish to request access to Snapchat data in accordance with EU Digital Services Act (DSA) Article 40(4), you can submit your research request by using the DSA Data Access Portal which is maintained by the European Commission.

Once a Data Access Request has been submitted through the DSA Data Access Portal, the Request will be reviewed and vetted by the Dutch Digital Services Coordinator. Once approved the Request will be forwarded to Snap.

Please note that only Data Access Requests submitted through the above Portal and reviewed and approved by the Digital Services Coordinator will be processed.

Researcher Data Access Requests under DSA Article 40(12)

If you are a researcher with non-commercial purposes and wish to request access to Snapchat data in accordance with EU Digital Services Act (DSA) Article 40(12), you can submit your data access request to the following email address: DSA-Researcher-Access[at]snapchat.com

We will then connect with you to validate eligibility criteria to process your request.
