Pursuant to Articles 6(4)(a) and (b) of the DSA Delegated Act on Data Access , this page contains the details of the point of contact established for the purposes of the vetted researcher data access regime, as well as a link to the DSA data access portal.

Data Catalog and Access Modalities

Pursuant to Articles 6(4)(c) and (d) of the DSA Delegated Act on Data Access, this page contains a DSA data catalogue and suggested access modalities.

The following data can be accessed through an Application Program Interface (API):

• App Product Page data
• Examples: App Id, Name, Icon, Subtitle, Description, Content Rating, Content Advisories, Screenshots, Editorial artwork, App Privacy data, Intro offers, Genres, Languages, Supported Devices, Release Date, App Bundles
• In-App Purchase data
• Examples: App ID, Name, Description, Offers, Languages, Release Date, Icon, Editorial artwork, availability for Family Sharing
• In-App Events
• Examples: Event type, Lockup artwork, Product artwork, Product video, Subtitle, Languages, Deep link
• Developer
• Examples: Related app IDs
• Editorial Stories
• Examples: Editorial Item / Editorial Item Group, Editorial artwork, Editorial video, Editorial note, Related apps ids
• User Ratings and Reviews

DSA and researcher access to data under Article 40(12)

Researchers interested in obtaining access to data that is publicly accessible on the App Store interface pursuant to Article 40(12) of the DSA may contact the Head of DSA Compliance to enquire about the access process. Apple will permit access if researchers satisfy the requirements set out in Article 40(12), namely that the researcher intends to conduct research that contributes to the detection, identification and understanding of systemic risks in the EU and meets the requirements of Article 40(8) (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the DSA.
